How do I improve my poor service at home?

We have always had 3-4 bars of LTE in our home.  In the last month our service has dropped to 1 bar of 4G service.   We have 5 ATT devices in our home and it’s the same on every device including our mifi so we are unable to watch TV or have internet as well. I have called ATT and got no where.  Have been told no towers are down.  But when I drive north about 2 miles I have perfect service.   Help!!

Hello @Lmoore1997,

We can definitely take a closer look into why you have been experiencing wireless signal issues in your area. We recommend using our Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool to fix this issue. Simply select your device and the issue, then follow the steps to find a helpful solution. With Wi-Fi Calling from AT&T, you can talk and text over any active Wi-Fi connection. You can also use the AT&T Mark the Spot app to report dropped calls, network issues, and receive network improvement notfications. Let us know if this helps.

We have had nothung but poor service from att. They send people out that cannot climb poles. Ghe people that finally come out snd climb the pole fix ut and thdn it fails again. Tomortow is Thanksgiving. Were expecting 20 people. The woman in EUROPE told me no one can come out until Friday

were definatekt dropping ATT. We do not recommend it. Their service is cheapand they are not customer oriented. Who invented their thanks program? Hire employees!!

My internet service is horrid! Even while connected to WiFi in my home my bars are still low and the web browser won't load certain things such as videos. And I pay over $100 for service and my phone.

I have the same EXACT problem...am watching your thread with interest. My problems started Aug. 1, 2019 (almost as if someone flipped a switch). I have been using the troubleshoot tool and mark the spot app multiple times per day with no response or remedy. My devices, basically, do not work within a 2-mile radius of my home and AT&T has done nothing but pass me around to multiple tech and customer service reps who promise to “look into it” and then promptly disappear. If you actually find a solution please PLEASE detail it here.

Have been a loyal customer going on 14 years and have had sub par service with this company. For the past 5 plus years service with land line phone and DSL have been steadily getting worse. Internet speed is way below what I’m paying for. The issue is when it rains it is getting in the buried lines. Service has come out many times just to switch lines and put a band aid on it. They are aware of the issue and It has been told to me more or less AT&T will not fix it due to the cost. So I am currently giving them my money and now have no internet or phone, even worse you can only talk to someone living two states away. I am considering filing a lawsuit for fraud and neglect for the all the money I have spent only to receive horrible service or no service.
