Passport WiFi access via Telstra in Australia?
This may be somewhat obscure but here goes! Planning a trip to Australia in May of 2015, and to get a 1-trip Passport Plus account set up. Australia teleco partner is listed as Telstra. I read several online news articles/press releases from Nov.-Dec. of 2014 that Telstra is testing numerous NEW hotspots in various cities there, but it is noted that AFTER the test period (unknown duration?) that WiFi access to their network will NOT be free, instead Telstra "guests" (vs those with a Telestra account) will need to pay a fee to access the network! So does that mean that I will have to pay to access Telestra network, in spite of having already paid $60.00 to set up the Passport Plus service, which supposedly includes unlimited WiFi via AT&T telco partners?

Hello! @CaribbeanTravlr Thank you for posting your question!
We have a partnership with Telstra in Australia for the Passport Plus service including WiFi, so you’re covered!
Thank you!

Hi, I am in Australia and have been asked to get an At & T (via Telstra) internet quote for a 100Mbps? How do I go about that? Could you send me some contact details?
Regards
Mark

@Mcarrick I have no idea what you are talking about. ATT does not provide service in Australia. There is no such thing as an “At & T (via Telstra) internet quote”. This 8 year old thread is about access to Telestra WiFi hotspots for ATT customers but the referenced Passport Plus no longer exists.
