Once reliable 4G LTE connectivity at home now drops

I have lived at the same address for the past 3yrs with fast reliable 4G LTE. My husband and I have had the Samsung S10 for just a little over a year and the connectivity has been great. However, over the last week or so the internet connection often disconnects or runs very slow even showing the 4G LTE indicator on our phone along full bars or nearly full bars.

I have tried resetting my network connection via ATT directions and have brought up to date the updates on the phones but still the issue keeps occuring.

Could it possibly be an issue with the nearby towers? I have a friend who also uses ATT who lives several miles away and is experiencing the same issues.

My zip code is 71439 We actually have an ATT maintenance facility in our small town. I'm not sure if it's cell towers or landlines they maintain.

As customers we pay for decent coverage and it's very frustrating when the service has been stellar up until this point.

Respectfully,

I. Morgan

We understand the importance of being able to use your device as expected @Ibmorgan40.

Upon further research into the 71439 zip code, there are currently towers undergoing maintenance. This can cause known network concerns.

We suggest that you use WIFI for internet whenever possible. As well, WIFI Calling is a helpful feature that you can use to keep call quality while connected to WIFI.

We do apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you for your patience and reaching out to AT&T Community Forums.

Hello Samantha,

Thank you for your reply.

Is there an estimated time frame for how long we will be experiencing the disruption in our service?

If the connectivity issue continues who may I contact to look into the issue further?

We pay monthly for data and connectivity that isn't available to us because of no fault of our own. Perhaps ATT could send out a notice to customers when towers will be under maintenance elevating some of the frustration.

Thank you again for your help regarding this issue.

Respectfully,

I. Morgan

For one cellular should never be your only communication source.  Coverage is not guaranteed as it's radio waves.

Thank you for the response @Ibmorgan40.

At this time I am unable to verify a time of restoral as there is multiple towers being serviced. This can cause congestion on the other towers in the area. We suggest waiting until you regain service and then reaching back out so we can help rectify this situation.

We appreciate your patience! Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums.
