No service inside big buildings and my apartment

I get absolutely no data service when inside big warehouses like Lowes, Home Depot, or Costco. I’ve entered different locations of the places I mentioned and I get do data service at all, while  call quality is very spotty. The biggest problem is that I have the same problem in my apartment as well.

Im using an Iphone 14pro and my wife has the 14pro max. Both of us have the same issues in similarly locations. Meanwhile, family members with service from T-mobile do not have these issues when inside my apartment or inside the aforementioned warehouses.
I recently switched from T-mobile, and honestly I regret it very much. I know feel stuck and can do nothing about it. Reading similar comments in this forum shows tha this is a common issue across the country.

Hello Tonstons, we're here to help with signal loss at certain locations.

You may notice certain rooms get poor LTE signals. This could be caused by your roof, walls, ground elements, and electronics.

  • Roofs: Depending on what your roof is made out of, can impact your reception.
  • Walls: depending on the thickness of your walls and how they are made, can affect the signal. Especially if it is reinforced with rebar.
  • Ground elements: Depending on what is under you can impact signals. Rocks, metals, even water can affect wireless signals.
  • Electronics: Electronics emit electromagnetic interference. This can interfere with the wireless signal.

You factor in everything we mentioned above and dead spots, you can see why your service may not be the same while in your home, office, or even outside.

Check out our forums post about lost signal.

Feel free to reach back out if you have any other questions or concerns.

So what are you going to do about it?

It's entirely on us customers to make choices and changes.   Each service provider provides a return window so that you can return new equipment, and keep your old equipment so that you can go back to your previous service provider.
