Network not working

what happens to my account when my phone is not receiving at&t network anymore? I purchase my phone from at&t and was still making payments on the phone and it was active, and the other day it just stop working, I went to the at&t store and I was told that my phone was not in their network anymore. I never receive any alert that this was going to happen. So I had to pay off this phone and buy another phone and start with another bill again. Not happy at all.

Hello, @margarita50! We are happy we were able to provide you more information on why the device was no longer supported on the AT&T network. Thank you for being the best part of AT&T and enjoy your day!

Rachel... hold up girl.  The phone says that it's a 5G phone (right there in the name).  A 5G phone.  Are you saying that a 5G phone uses 3G to communicate?  Really?  Are you sure about that?  Okay, let's be official and stick to AT&T's published list (as referred to by sandblaster above).  Again (as he said), the VERY FIRST PHONE on that list is "Galaxy A71 5G (A716U".  The VERY phone the original poster has.

Please go tell your boss you need retraining.  Or something.  Sorry to be so blunt, but this is just too blatant to be smoothed over.

Hi Rachel, AT&T Community Specialist,

The problem now is that although I still have this phone that I pay it off in order to have a phone that works, I had to upgrade and this phone is out of service because the company move the phone number to the new phone I had to buy because this phone was not longer working with AT&T network.
