Need to activate my US prepaid AT&T sim in India in order to download whatsapp on my new iphone
Need to activate my US prepaid AT&T sim in India in order to download whatsapp on my new iphone. Upon downloading whatsapp, the application sends a sms code to your registered number and since I am in India my US sim card is not functional hence I cant access the code. Is there any way I can activate my prepaid AT&T sim in India in order to access the messages.

I am india and need incoming calling service on AT&T sim. I have $40 prepaid plan.Please guide.

@Sxbhati try reading the thread. The same answer given 4 years ago is still true. Prepaid service does not roam in India.

Hello @Sxbhati, let's clarify a few things for you.
At this time, international coverage is not available in India. Our Prepaid International travel add on does allow for calls to and from a specific list of countries. With most calls originating from the US, Canada and Mexico.
You are able to check your available coverage using our Prepaid coverage map, using the option for International or Prepaid.
