Maintenance

I’m new to AT&T and live in the greater Bowling Green area in KY. For the last 3 months or so I have had the worst phone service I have ever experienced even through prepaid services such as StraightTalk. I can’t even hardly have a conversation with other people using AT&T and I’ve tried everything I can think of to make sure it’s not on my end or theirs. I’ve been hearing that AT&T have been undergoing maintenance in my area and that may be causing the issue. If it is, it would be nice to know for sure so I know that eventually it’ll get better, and when could I expect that to finally happen? I can’t even have a phone conversation most of the time right now for the quality of the call being so terrible that I either cannot hear anything they’re saying or the call just drops. I love the unlimited data to pieces but this call quality is pathetic.

Thanks.

Greetings @Wickett42!

We're sorry to hear that you're having problems with your cellular service. Allow us to lend a hand!

As of now, there are no reports of cellular interference in the Bowling Green area. However, if a disturbance does occur, you can report it by using the Mark The App on your device. With this app, you can receive updates on network improvements where you filed reports or saved ZIP codes, and also provide any feedback for future ideas.

We recommend, utilizing WiFi Calling with your device in order to stay connected and keep your smartphone features up and running. And if the problem still continues, you can access the Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool for additional steps.

We hope this helps.

Hearing this saddens me greatly. The phone service in the majority of the bowling green area is very spotty and drops in random locations. If it weren’t for the unlimited data I would not be with AT&T. I say this to try and be constructive, not rude. I’m just not at all satisfied with the phone reception for the price I pay.
