Loss of cell service

I’ve been a AT&T mobile service customer for at least 20yrs and the area I live in has lost its service coverage. 

From Wapanucka, OK on hwy  48 to Durant, Ok  and on Hwy 7 from Atoka, OK to Tishomingo, OK hardly any cell service.   I’ve had cell service in these locations since the bag phones and mobiles  worked great - no dropped calls.

Technology is better and our phone service is worse than the beginning of mobile phones.  It’s rural areas and if there’s an accident no way to call for help now!  Me and multiple family and friends are looking for new cell service so when can use are phones.

We'd love to help with this. You can directly report dropped calls and connectivity issues with the AT&T Mark the Spot app. Reports through the app let us know where we need to investigate service issues and beef up our infrastructure. The app can also keep you informed on known service issues and upcoming wireless infrastructure improvements.


You may also be able to use Wi-Fi Calling to assist in making calls. It requires:


  • A Wi-Fi internet connection.
  • A Wi-Fi Calling capable device and an eligible rate plan.
  • An AT&T wireless account provisioned with HD Voice.

Yep, I live in the heart of Atlanta and ever since their ‘upgrade’ to 5g can’t make or receive calls! Data is incredibly slow. All fine before.
