Is Alaska considered part of the US on an ATT Unlimited Plus Multiline plan?

Is Alaska considered part of the US on an ATT unlimite plus multiline plan?  Cust. svc says no, your domestic coverage map says yes (certain areas).  Is there a charge for domestic calls, say from AK to lower 48?  Also, is there a charge for texting in either direction?

OMG.  Yes, it’s a state and domestic.  As is Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.

In the current plans you also can call to, from and in Canada and Mexico free.

I cant believe they told you it’s roaming.  🤦🏼‍♀️
