How to fix bad wireless phone signal at home?

For some reason the wireless phone signal is terrible in my house/neighborhood. Even if I show good signal at the top of my phone, I still experience issues. Phone calls constantly drop and or cut out. My signal is worse at home than it is anywhere. The entire neighborhood has the same issue. Is there anyway to fix / make signal better? We live in a large neighborhood and they are continuously building new neighborhoods around us. I would hope they plan to fix this as it seems it will only get worse. It (Edited per community guidelines) to pay for the best part wireless and internet plan and not be able to make a call at home without issues.

@TyDollaDale

In this order:

1. Enable WiFi-C (WiFi Calling) if your phone is capable

2. Use LTE and not 5G

3. Purchase AT&T's Cell Booster (which is not a cellular booster but a femtocell)

4. Purchase a cellular booster

5. Switch to another carrier who offers better cellular coverage in your area

Hello, @TyDollaDale! We want to help improve the quality of your phone calls.

We encourage you to check the coverage in your area. Then make sure you have the most current software update on your device. While you are at home, you can connect to Wi-Fi Calling, that will allow you to receive incoming and make outgoing calls.

Also, try refreshing your connection to the network by powering your device off, then after several minutes, back on. This action closes the operating system, all programs, and finalizes all pending input and output operations before the device restarts.

We hope this information was helpful, and please let us know if you have any additional questions.

A few options:

1) Turn on Wi-Fi calling to use your Wi-Fi network to handle calls and texts when at home. https://www.att.com/features/wifi-calling/

2) Upgrade to a phone that better supports the radios in your area. https://www.att.com/maps/wireless-coverage.html is helpful to estimate what technologies are in your area.
