Has anyone used a weBoost booster?

My father lives in a rural area and doesn’t get signal in his house at all from AT&T. It’s so rural there is no high speed internet available for his address. This means Wi-Fi calling is not an option. Outside on the ground it varies between one and two bars.

We’ve been looking at purchasing the weBoost booster kit from WilsonAmplifiers.

Has anyone used one of these before?

If so, how was your experience with it?

A cell booster is like a tv antenna, is amplifies an existing signal.  It cannot create one where none exists.  If he has 1 or 2 bars it might be a good option.  Installation is much like mounting an external TV antenna.  I advise you get a pro to install unless you’re very handy.

The WeBoost website sells a few brands.  I use a Wilson car booster, which I’ve had for almost 2 years.  Don’t go cheap.  Go for the biggest gain you can get.
