Dropped calls in our area

My wife and I both have Samsung Galaxy S7 phones and AT&T cellular plans.  Although we have 2 bars or more signal strength at our home, we both consistently experience call breakups (where either we or the party we're speaking to can't hear each other) or completely dropped calls.  We have tried restarting our phones, but that doesn't help.  Others in our area experience the same type of problems.  Is it possible to have someone check the cell tower and/or associated equipment that covers our area?  How do we go about getting someone to do this?
