Domestic Data Roaming Issues

I am traveling throughout Arizona and have hit multiple cities that do not have native AT&T coverage. All of my lines, except for my iPhone 7 Plus will not roam no matter what I do. All of my other lines roam perfectly fine. I have spent hours contacting multiple AT&T reps who "don't know" why it is happening and leave it at that. For the next two days I will be in an Off-Network area, which means my iPhone will get no service the entire two days. If this is the case, switching carriers is very likely. Verizon has had superior coverage where AT&T roams. I am getting extremely frustrated, I used to like AT&T and I hope this can be fixed so I can like them again. Right now, it seems like AT&T has no idea why my phone won't roam and really doesn't care that it won't work. Any thoughts??

@austin_spiller1998 I wonder if those other phones are roaming onto local CDMA networks??

The AT&T iPhone 7 doesn't speak CDMA...

(Wild guess)

I made a test call on both the iPhone 6s and 6 Plus line, I had 3G data at the same time. Phones would also drop to EDGE at times, which is a GSM only technology. AFAIK, all AT&T roaming partners are GSM.

I agree, but that is A key difference between a iPhone 7 and 6/6s, so I thought I'd toss it out there.  That's why I labeled it a "wild guess".

@austin_spiller1998 I'm sure you are right, ATT roaming partners are GSM only. Front line CSR's don't have the technical knowledge to troubleshoot this. Call and ask for advanced tech support.

@sandblaster, if what the chat rep did yesterday doesn't work I will give AT&T advanced tech a call.
