Changing Device Signal Bands
Just bought a new iPad, and it's attached itself to the 2.4 Ghz radio on my Pace 5268AC router. An older iPad is on the 5 Ghz band and is receiving a stronger signal. How do I get the new one moved over to the 5 GHZ radio?

Your new iPad should see both signals. Just select the one you want. You should be able to configure the router so that each signal has a different name.

Not sure how to select the signal I want. Do I do this on the iPad on the router, and where/how do I do it? I'm assuming the 5 Ghz signal is stronger/faster than the 2.4....

Not necessarily. You select the signal from the iPad but you configure the router so that the two signals have different names. If they both have the same name, no way to tell which is which.

The iPad only indicates that I have one network to join, and if the signals are displayed in a different setting, I don't know where that setting is.
