Can’t log onto account or call at&t because have no service

After I declined the international day pass I immediately had no service. I received a text with a phone number telling me if I want to change to call this number. I can’t call the number because I have no service. The call always fails. I tried to log onto my account, but they send a  code by text to my phone which I never receive. There is no email address to contact AT&T. I tried chat, but you have to log into your account. To do that you have to type in the code you receive to your phone. I never receive a code . I receive texts fromOther people but I never receive the code sent by AT&T.

How are you receiving texts from other people if you have no service? That doesn’t make sense. Anyway, you need to find a way to call the international support number. Account access is blocked from most locations abroad, you probably wouldn’t be able to log into your account even if you did receive the text.

I don’t no why I can’t call or text at&t, but receive emails and texts. None of this makes sense to me.  I don’t travel abroad and have no experience with this.  I emailed our daughter to call at&t to ask them for help, but she hasn’t responded,  so I don’t know if she received my email.
Thank you for your response.

If you don’t have cellular service, you can still send and receive emails and non SMS/MMS messages over WiFi, you just can’t send or receive SMS/MMS texts, they require cellular service.

I can’t find an email address for at&t and read that one doesn’t exist.  I can’t chat with at&t either.  Thank you for your response!

If you had set up wifi calling before leaving USA, you could use that. Did you?

No, I got the international day plan.  I decided to cancel it while in Italy and my phone immediately went to no service. They gave me that number to call toll-free on my phone and I have no service so I can’t make the call. I have no service to receive the text codes to log into my account. I was immediately shut down by AT&T and Kayla👸🏼I decided to cancel it while in Italy and my phone immediately went to no service. Sorry for the mistakes in my last post. I was dictating and failed to check it before I posted.

Since we had no service when At&t cut off our phone service, we were not able to call the number or chat (tried for 4 days to reach At&t). We resolved our issues by going to the Apple store in Italy and they allowed us use their phone to call at&t.
