AT&T Coverage (Edited per community guidelines)

I just switched to at&t to join my wife’s plan. I had an iPhone 7 plus with straight talk and had no problems with the service and coverage except for traveling to Mexico. 
I upgraded to the iPhone X max and at&t thinking everything would work a lot faster but my social media takes forever to load. Videos take forever. Calls cut in and out. FaceTime is always blurry it seems, And searching the web takes forever as well. I just don’t understand why the service would be this slow. I’m paying more with AT&T so it makes no sense to stay with the company if it’s not any faster than a prepaid plan would be.

What state are you in?  did you call ATT to see if there any cell towers down or being worked on?  I have to agree with you.  I have been a very long term ATT customer almost 10 years and i have to say that once the cell phone providers offered Unlimited plans is when i definitely saw a decline in service.  i blame this on the cell towers for they are unable to keep up with the demand.
