5G/4GLTE extremely slow

I switched plans from my older ATT plan to Unlimited your way about a week ago but the data is extremely slow. I have been trying to use the data but whenever I try to open a webpage it takes over 1-2 minutes to load something simple like Google search.

I've been playing around with the settings and found that if I turn off LTE, the data is much faster. Comparing the speeds from LTE and off LTE there is a significant difference, about 8-10 Mbps faster which is abnormal since being on the Elite plan I am supposed to have the "premium" data.

5G and 4G LTE are pretty much unusable. I have called ATT tech support and they have not been helpful at all. They have filed a "critical" ticket but I have not received a response from them about the fix for this issue.

I was wondering if anyone from r/ATT has experienced this issue.

Currently in San Francisco, away from downtown, and closer to the ocean.

theres no such thing as premium data all plans get the same data speeds, im guessing what you think is 5G is actually displaying 5Ge which is just enhanced LTE that has had issues with performance speeds whenever im in an area with 5Ge

@Constructive Would this be false advertising then? Am I paying extra for a service that is not even available on ATT?
