not a clue if they still work that way, or not.. but had an att mobility phone that went bad on me.. went to the local wal-mart and got an inexpensive go phone.. then switched out the simm for the one in the other phone, turned it on, and worked just fine. (no need to buy a replacement phone from the store, as they always want to make you sign up for the new 2 year contract... don't really care for contracts.)

Anyways, do the go phones still take other att phone simms?

Yep, that should still work. Any AT&T branded phone shouldn't have any trouble being used on any AT&T account.

We are having a problem with my wife's GoPhone (ATT branded Galaxy S4 Mini since new) being able to get a signal at work, even for texting. They are in a weak signal location and a miceocell cannot be installed. Can we get WiFi calling on any GoPhone? What would be the cheapest way to get it on a regular plan? Problem is she does not use it much.

Or, is there a difference in GoPhone accounts reception vs, postpaid? Her bosses iPhone does better than hers on postpaid.

Thanks...

As far as the Gophone Sim,I was switching unlocked smart phones (Andorid) with it all the time.
It works all right.I only found out it may not work too well with Blackberry.....the BBM thing .

As long as the SIM is from another AT&T phone, it should work. But, if you run into issues, you can check with an AT&T store sure to be certain. Thanks!
