Your request to unlock an AT&T device was not approved

I've been a gophone customer for over 3 years. I would like to unlock my iphone. But my request to unlock my iphone was denied. The email says "We can't complete your request at this time because the device hasn't had active paid service for at least six months." I've had the same gophone account / phone/ phone number for over 3 years! I purchased this phone from apple and brought it to the gophone service.  How can I resolve this issue and unlock my iphone?

I am sorry to hear your unlock request has been denied. I can understand how important it is to have this problem resolved.

Hi, I have the same issue, can you please help me. I´ll been an at&t customer in  Go Phone service for the last 19 months. I need to unlock my phone, Im just getting the same answer: "We can't complete your request at this time because the device hasn't had active paid service for at least six months". Hello, I tried for three times to request an unlock for my telephone, but the answer was the same:'We're unable to approve your request because the IMEI number provided doesn't match a device that's currently on the AT&T network'. Then in a private message i gave information about my account number, imei, and the answer was that i should call to +1(314)925-69-25, they asked me to enter an AT&T number which i don't have. Could you help me please how can I unlock my device, because the contract is ended? Thanks for the answer.
