Will I lose my ATT prepaid account balance when I replace my broken phone with a new ATT Prepaid phone?

My older ATT Prepaid phone is overheating & eating battery life, so I need to replace it quickly with a new ATT Prepaid phone. I have found one in the Prepaid list that has a SIM card of the same size (NANO), but worry that I will lose my prepaid account balance when I switch over to the new phone. That happened last time when I switched out to my current phone, and I don't recall if I needed a new SIM card at the time. Can anyone here tell me what to expect? Thanks a million!

No, you won’t lose your balance. Just move the SIM card from the old phone to the new phone.
