Why is sim card saying not connected to network
I put my sim card into a Verizon phone that was not unlocked, and now that I have returned the sim card to my phone, it says it is not connected to a network. I can't text or call and have to use WiFi. Would appreciate any input or advice to aid me with my stupidity. I have a prepaid sim. If that makes a difference.

We'll be happy to get your SIM card working again @Cartoonautopsy.
You can try reactivating the SIM card through the prepaid activation portal; you'll need the SIM/ICCID number and device IMEI.
If that doesn't work for you, you will need to visit an AT&T store and get a new SIM card.
