Updated prepaid G3 flip phone account to use my new 4G flip phone. Still get the 3G going away message. Why?

Updated prepaid G3 flip phone account to use my new 4G flip phone.  I am still get the 3G going away message on my new phone and sends me to que for the sales people.  Why is this still happening?  I just want to use my new 4G phone.

The IMEI should have corrected itself as soon as you activated the new phone with a new SIM card. Since it has not, please call and talk to AT&T and make sure they make the correction.

Is this replacement from AT&T?  Yes? 

Did you activate the new sim card? ( the old SIM card is likely not provisioned for voice over LTE service) 

No?  What make and model?

Yes I activated the new SIM card online through my account.  It is an AT&T prepaid 4G Alcatel SMARTFLIP phone.
