Unlock GoPhone while abroad
I have a Nokia Lumia 635 GoPhone with ATT. I will be abroad this summer when the six months lock period expires, and I'm eligible to submit the unlock request on the ATT website.
My question is: Will the code be enough for me to unlock the phone and use it with a different carrier while I am abroad? Or do I need to be connected to an ATT network to finish the unlocking process after I enter the code that ATT sends me?

When you receive the unlock code, if you put a foreign sim in your phone, it will ask for the code. If entered correctly, the phone will unlock and be usable on the foreign sim.
