Transferring phone number back to AT&T after transferring it to Mint Mobile for less than a week

Last week I decided to try out Mint mobile but ultimately decided I didn't like the service as much as AT&T prepaid.

I transferred my phone number over to Mint mobile when I first set it up, but now I've canceled that service and am trying to transfer the number back to AT&T prepaid.

I've gone through all the steps to set up my account and transfer the number back to AT&T however when I try to log into MyATT it says "Account has been disconnected, please contact customer support"

At first I thought maybe the number wasn't porting, but when I go to www.att.com/port and type in my phone number it says "Your port status is confirmed"

I've called customer support 3 times and they've all walked me in a circle.

Any suggestions or help is apricated! Thanks!

Porting the number causes it to cancel on mint. If you cancelled service first, you can’t port the number. This gets extra confusing because mint uses ATT’s network. That may be why the status shows “confirmed” but I suspect your number didn’t port and may be gone.

My service hasn't been 100% canceled with Mint. I still have service, I think they're in the process of canceling it.

Again, porting the number will cancel it on mint. Perhaps you should contact mint to make sure they don’t cancel until it’s ported.
