That’s a scam text and not from ATT. Don’t click any links.

Im getting unwanted 20+ group texts from numbers and email addresses at all hours with website addresses that are for hookups and other things that I have never participated in. I block each number/email as it comes in but they are multiples per day with 100s of numbers. How can I get this to STOP?

have been getting annoying fake messages claiming to be from AT&T also. Just like the one mentioned here.
Plus others claiming “my phone will be suspended due to too much spam”
Several other fake crap. Always of course with a Link attached.
texts are coming non stop!
Not a only from Fake AT&T scam’s, but other fake places also.

Hi Malaina! We are here to help with your spam group text messages!
We understand how frustrating it can be to receive spam group text messages, we are here to help. Please don't open, respond or click on any links on a suspicious message as doing so alerts the spammer that your number is active and clicking on unknown links compromises your personal data.
Forward suspicious text messages to us at 7726(SPAM) free from device. Also, Report unwanted text messages or calls on our page by giving us more details regarding the spam text messages so we can help block them.
We also recommend our AT&T Mobile Security & Call Protect Apps for additional protection against spammers. These apps scan your device for malware and reduces your chances of becoming a victim of fraud.
Lastly, if you are not using group messaging, we recommend toggling it off in message settings to avoid being added in the unwanted group text messages. You'll need to navigate to Settings>Messages> Group Messaging>Off and adjust your message settings as desired.
We hope this helps! Thank you for reaching out to the AT&T Community Forums!
