Suspicious call

Hello,
I had a problem with my account for international calls and yesterday I called this number through skype: +1.408.962.1025. They asked me for my 4-digit pin, and IMEI number and I gave both, but the problem was not solved, so they said they canceled the international add-on. I still have the add-on on my account, and when I checked the number online, it looks like mostly scam calls, and now I'm scared that I gave my IMEI number along with some other info to a scammer. How can I confirm that it was AT&T or what should I do?

That phone number has been given out as the phone number to contact AT&T  Wireless Customer Service Internationally, i.e. from outside the U.S.  Whether you actually reached AT&T when you dialed that number via Skype no one will be able to answer.

Thanks for the response. What do you mean? Can you reach someone else when you dial a specific number?

Protect yourself from deceptive callers

  • Use caution when giving out or verifying personal or financial information over the phone. Initiate the call yourself and only call a phone number that you can verify as legitimate.
  • Never use your myAT&T account information to sign in to any website other than the AT&T website listed on your statement.
  • Register your phone number with DoNotCall.gov.
