Refill Your Account scam

I've had a prepaid account for years. Tonight I received a call which appeared to be from AT&T. The recording said that the information for my account had been lost and to retrieve it I should press 1. It sounded like a scam to me, so I hung up. I called AT&T and verified that it was indeed a scam call. It looked pretty convincing. It appeared to come from 611, but I was charged $.10, which wouldn't happen on a real 611 call. AT&T is aware of this scam, but to my knowledge they haven't warned their customers. I don't know what information the scammers ask for, but you should never give any personal information to unknown parties. If you're concerned about your account, call AT&T.
