Prepaid Renewal Problem
My prepaid phone is expiring and I need to renew it for a year. Last renewal I paid 10 dollars for 100 minutes, which are good for an entire year. I just renewed on the ATT website for 10 dollars but the minutes expire in one month. I only use this phone very little for emergencies so only a very small amount of minutes are used, and the rest are unused. I need to renew for a full year, but don't want, or need, to spend 100 dollars for a vast amounts of minutes that will never be used. Besides that, I'm unemployed because of the virus crisis. I already spent 10 dollars, but I didn't get renewed for a full year like last time. How do I fix this? I was on hold for customer service for almost 2 hours, then they hung up on me.

You don’t fix t because nothing is wrong. I have no idea how or why you got a year out of a $10 refill last time. You shouldn’t have. Any $10-$24 refill expires in 30 days. A $25-$99 refill expires in 90 days. A $100 or higher refill expires in a year. You apparently got lucky last year but 30 days is what you should get for a $10 refill.
