prepaid phone outside usa
Hello.
I bought an at&t prepaid phone in my last visit to usa, I never opened the box until now, but when I insert my sim card (from entel chile carrier) the phone says network locked.
can I unlock the my phone to use in my country? how ?
can I activate my at&t prepaid sim from the roaming network?

To unlock an AT&T phone, you need to submit a request online. You can review the requirements and submit a request by clicking here.
You won't be able to activate your AT&T SIM card in Chile because AT&T GoPhone only supports roaming in Mexico and Canada at this time.

I tried that already, but when I put the IMEI number the page says:
Error: We found no record of the IMEI Number you entered. Check your device's 15-digit IMEI Number by dialing *#06# (errorCode.ULP2003)
maybe is because the phone was never activated? (it's new), I'm not sure if it is a "gophone".
maybe if I put an AT&T sim card to be register the phone in the at&t network, but I don't know if that will work on the Entel network in Chile.
