prepaid data only plan mobile hotspot: can't unlock my account or change payment

prepaid data only plan mobile hotspot: can't unlock my account or change payment

there's no way to get a pin or password change.

i've also tried waiting for about 15 days.

i've called att store but they had no clue.

i've dialed 611 but i can't change anything without a pin or using another device.

Hi there @created1983, we want to help you access and make changes to your prepaid account. 

 

We want to make sure you can get into your account. First, try clearing the cache and cookies of your current browser, and once that's done, follow these steps to reset your prepaid PIN or password:

  1. Go to the AT&T prepaid sign-in page.
  2. Choose Forgot Password
  3. Enter your wireless number and choose Request Online Password or Request 4-Digit PIN
  4. Select Send PIN Temporary Password, and a text will be sent with a temporary password. 
  5. Enter the temporary info and select continue. 
  6. Follow the prompts to create a new online password or 4-digit PIN. 

Please be aware that your password will need to be 6-24 characters long, can't be the same as your user ID, and has to be a mix of letters, numbers and special characters. If you're unable to change your password or PIN, please share the error code with us so we can look into further troubleshooting options regarding this.

Nope. Read my post. My only option is to dial 611 and talk to a human. It doesn't work.

We understand you're unable to change your PIN or online password, and can't change your prepaid mobile data plan. We'd like more context regarding this however, so please let us know what error code you're getting when you attempt to change your PIN or password using the page above.

Once we know the specific error that you're getting, we'll be able to look into this in more detail.

It's a mobile hotspot and doesn't make calls. I've put the SIM in a phone before but I couldn't receive messages or make any calls
