Prepaid Activation Problems

I've gone through all kinds of loops trying to reach a real person on the phone, but the automative system just wouldn't forward me to a real person to help me with activation.


I'm trying to port my number to a prepaid sim that I ordered recently and when I go to activate it I get the message




The information provided is not valid. Please try again.



Anytime I try to reactivate, this error comes up after hitting the continue button where it shows my phone number information, through my phone or through my browser. When I try to setup a new user using my phone number, I also get the same error, even though it shows my phone number after "activating". 


I walked into a ATT store yesterday and they told me to go through the phone system for support, but it's not helping me at all. 


I'm at my wit's end trying to get any kind of help from ATT.
