Overcharged after changing plan

I changed my plan from $45 to $30 monthly plan, but when it renews it still charges me $45 on my card, but on the profile page, it says i'm in $30 monthly plan?

And I also have account balance, but why it still charges me on card?

Hello @dttfgw, we're happy to help with information to help resolve your Prepaid plan change concerns. 


If you’re on an AT&T PREPAID monthly plan, we suggest only making changes the day before your current plan expires. This way, you won't lose any of the remaining services of your current plan. If your plan is changed after your previous plan has been renewed you will have to pay the Prepaid Plan costs up front for your new plan.
