Mobile Sim Card Kit questions
Greetings. I'll be in the country for a few months and wanted to get a local number to make things easier while living here. I have a few questions regarding an AT&T Sim Card Kit I saw for sale on Walmart.
First, in the specs, it mentions "keep your number", but my number is from Mexico and I'd rather have a local number, how does this work?
Second, it mentions, at the bottom of the Card, *65 do./month plan, does this means that I'm obliged to get the $65 plan or can I buy any plan I want after switching the SIM card?
I know these are basic questions but I have no clue as it's my first time buying a SIM card here. Appreciate the support.

You only keep your number if you port it, which I’m not even sure you could do with a Mexican number. If you don’t port, you are assigned a local number when you activate the SIM card. You can also pick any plan, you are not obligated to get the $65 plan.
