I know your looking to blame AT&T or directv but they have nothing to do with it. I don’t even have directv but get 3 to 4 calls a week saying I’m eligible for 50% off for being such a great customer. I play along ang give them non existent account numbers and a fake phone number and they confirm I can get the discount but I have to pay for a year in advance and to get eBay gift cards.

Thanks for letting us know, @Eslingcm.

As @Constructive stated, we'd advise that you'd block and ignore these SPAM and unwanted calls.

Feel free to also look closer into our AT&T Call Protect feature to help report and block these nuisance callers.

We hope this information helps and thanks for reaching out to the AT&T Forums Community!

I have the premium Call Protect
at $3.99/mo plus I’ve blocked the number 3X and it still gets through   It’s always Unknown Caller so I’m sure number changes    I’ve just requested refund for Call Protect and will go back to Robokiller

No worries @Eslingcm, we truly understand.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) established a National Do Not Call registry for consumers who want to avoid unwanted sales calls. We honor Do Not Call requests on this national list, as well as state lists and the AT&T internal Do Not Call List.

You can register your number using the methods listed below.

  • Go to Federal Do Not Call website, and follow the on screen prompts.
  • Call 888.382.1222 (TTY 866.290.4236) from the number you wish to register. Both the call and registration are free.

We hope this additional option helps for you!

Indian call scammers laugh at the do not call list.
