I joined and then dropped from a multi-line account which had not been paid yet. I had renewed my plan before that. Do I need to pay twice?

(Actually it is a question from my friend. I copied and posted what she wanted to ask.)

"I renewed my $35 plan on August 12th and joined a multi-line account on August 15th (still the $35 plan). Because I dropped from this account and it had not been paid yet, do I need to pay twice for my plan?"

Yes, changing plans (and joining or leaving a multiline account is the same as changing plans) always requires payment for the new plan.

And the problem is that her plan is currently inactive unless she paid for it.

Exactly. The new plan does not start until you pay for it.
