Hello @Rokrick we're happy to provide the steps to transfer your old number to AT&T.
Thank you @formerlyknownas for the helpful information. In addition, you can find out if your number is eligible for transfer just enter your 10-digit phone number to see if it can be transferred when you switch to AT&T.
Once you have confirmed your phone number is eligible it’s easy to bring your number when you order online. But first, it’s important that you do not cancel service with your old provider until the port process completes. Cancelling service with your old provider will result in the number transfer and wireless order being cancelled.
When you’re ready to bring your number to AT&T:
1. Choose Keep my number at checkout.
2. Enter the phone number you want to bring to AT&T.
3. Verify and add your carrier information. Be sure to enter it correctly so we can process the request. If there are errors in the information you enter it may delay the number transfer. Online orders will be canceled if not resolved.
After you have completed the above process to submit your transfer request, you can stay updated on the status your Number Transfer by entering your wireless phone number. We're here if you have any questions. Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums.

You should have requested to Port your number when you switched.
In order to Port your number it needs to still be active on your other service provider, you need the account number and the security PIN code.
Call AT&T and provide them with that information and your current account information to replace your number.
