Can't enter voicemail password on flip phone
It seems that voicemail now requires your password to start with an uppercase letter, include a lowercase letter, then some numbers. However... my flip phone does not let me enter letters and numbers for a password. For example, on a flip phone the number 2 is also the letters a, b & c. So how do I access my voice mail?????
And why is AT&T charging me $.35 to check my voicemail which I cannot access?

There are no letters in a voicemail password. Your prepaid password is 7 to 15 digits. If you have forgotten the password you set up, you can reset it.

Yes, AT&T charges to access your voicemail when you are on a pay per minute plan.
If you are using your phone actively quite a bit, you might want to consider switching to Consumer cellulars $15 talk only plan or switching to a regular monthly plan that includes talk and text. AT&T grandfathered the pay per use plans in January

That doesn't seem to be true. When I create a password using 7 to 15 digits, here's the error message:
Online password must be at least 6 characters, begin with a capital letter and contain one each of the following: lower case letter and a number. May include hyphens (-) & underscores (_). Repeated, sequential or special characters are not allowed.
Online Password is used online and the myAT&T app.
So I can't access my voicemail?

Solution: Online chat w/AT&T support. They reset something at their end and I was able to start the set up process for my phone over again without losing the old contacts & voicemail.
