Hello @dafanti.

To cancel AutoPay for your AT&T PREPAID account you need to be logged in. Your initial password is the last four digits of your wireless number.

  1. At the top of the page, select Home.
  2. Select Manage AutoPay.
  3. Select End AutoPay.
  4. Follow the prompts to confirm cancellation of your AutoPay.

If you have trouble logging in to your account, you may be interested in the experiences of the customers in this thread. You can also reach us by phone. To best serve you while out of the country; please call +1.314-925.6925. Thanks for reaching out to us on Forums!

@ATTHelp

Hello, I am having the same problem. I have left the US and am trying to cancel my ATT prepaid account. I am unable to login to my account. I can't access my prepaid account to access any temporary passwords and have no ability to call any ATT support lines. There also doesn't seem to be any email address by which I can communicate my needs to ATT customer service. I am on autopay and so money is being deducted for a service I am no longer using. Kindly advise as to how I might rectify this issue. Thanks so much.

@vkumar8 Account access is blocked from most locations outside of the US. Your only options to stop autopay without account access are to call the international support number or cancel your credit or debit card that is used for autopay. A possible workaround for account access is to use a VPN connection to a US based network or have someone you know and trust in the US login and do it for you.

Hello, thank you for your quick response. I wouldn’t mind asking a friend in the US to help me login and cancel autopay for me. However, I am trying to reset my password and am unable to do so, as temporary password is being sent to my ATT prepaid number, which I cannot access overseas.

May I ask what might be my best option in this situation? Thanks so much.

@vkumar8 If you need to reset your password, there is no alternative to receiving the text. Your best option is to cancel the card used for autopay. Report your card lost or stolen, they will issue a new card with a new number and charges against the old card will be denied.

I recently got onto a new att family Plan and with that came a new number. I didn’t realize my att pre paid is on auto pay. Well unfortunately now I cannot log into my pre paid account with the old phone number and password. Is there any Other way of canceling?! Please help! I am paying for something I’m no longer using. Plus something that I am using.

(Edited per community guidelines) !!! I was literally getting help in the chat and when I said I wanted to cancel my prepaid they stoped answering me and they cut it out. Ridiculous. AND they blocked my online account. I want to cancel my prepaid account NOW. I have been literally trying it for weeks now. I am SO (Edited per community guidelines) that At&t is making it IMPOSSIBLE for me to do so. RIDICULOUS!!!

@carolacs I’m in same situation this makes me crazy. I paid a lot for the account that I’m not using. I’m not in US and I forgot my password, there’s no way to fix it! I’m even thinking I might have to stop my card and make a new card so AT&T can’t stole my money anymore!

I hate AT&T they always trying to steal our money!!!

By canceling my autopay, does this cancel my subscription automatically? What is your answer to Indiamorrell? We have the same question. Thanks a lot. Your answer will give me peace of mind.

@Nannee73 The way to cancel prepaid is to stop paying. By cancelling autopay, your plan will expire and not renew. 60 days after your plan expires, your account will be closed.
