AT&T Store at the exit from Terminal 4 of JFK airport charged 65.25$ for the 35$ Unlimited Plan
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am a visitor from Russia. Today I have bought an AT&T GoPhone at your store at the exit from the arrival hall of Terminal 4 JFK airport, and I have been charged 65.25$ for the 35$ Unlimited Plan. Your employee at the store said that additional 30.25$ is the activation fee and this fee is mandatory. Only later when I could connect to the Internet to access your website, I found out that your employee cheated on me. It was a scam done by your employee, and it was really disgusting. How could you allow your employee treat your customers like that?
Also, I have found out that I could not log in on the AT&T website using the last 4 digits as the password because my wireless number is not associated with any prepaid plan. After several attempts now my number was locked.
I believe such an act is not acceptable and I am looking forward to an appropriate reaction from you. I would be glad to provide you with the receipt, the sim card and the phone number for further investigation of this incident.

Airport stores are not owned by ATT. Those are franchise stores. They pay high rent at airports and recoup with high charges. They are allowed to charge what they want for SIM cards. $25-$30 is not unusual. You also pay 25% more for rental cars, plus extra taxes at the airport, food, beverages, etc. all prices are high.
Its not a scam, it’s how they afford that location.
If you entered the wrong PIN code you will need ATT to reset it. Find a company store, not an authorized retailer, to help you. I wrote the PIN code on the card the sim came from and put it in my wallet.
Company stores offer in store pick up and say “SHOP THIS STORE”. Locator in the margin at bottom of page.
