AT&T Says One Flat Rate Pays For Everything: Really?!
On the phone today, an AT&T sales rep told me that she herself is a Spanish-speaking Colombian and that one of the Nokia Lumia 520 Windows 8.1 AT&T Go Phone smartphone wireless calling plans costs just a monthly flat-rate of $30 per month, regardless of any "unlimited" calls or messages that I ever send or receive. Yet, AT&T always charges me way beyond a flat rate, denying it, though, with every call I make to them telling about it. Also on the phone today, Microsoft told me that this same matter was out of their own hands, but that, if the AT&T rep does not understand me, I can ask for an English-speaking rep. In many other calls that I have placed to AT&T, however, I have already done that, to no avail. Is Colombia a headquarters of drug-dealing?

Smartphone customers can use Wi-Fi for data where available, or purchase a data package.
A $5 per 100MB data package is available for 30 days.
In short, you are paying for talk and text, but will use data and are not paying for it with the $30 plan.
You might want to look at other plan options, like the $45 plan.
