AT&T reuse card

I have a reuse card from dollar general and loaded it for my balance due.  However, the website and 611 both tell me the "pin" has already been used!  Well of course it has, its a reloadable card.  Dollar General CAN NOT refund the money it shows it went thru on their end and I have the receipt to it.  There are post about not having to do anything because it'll automatically go on my account!  Ummm, well how does it know to go to my account?  The card isn't linked!  It's very aggravating and ALL I can find on the internet are basically stupid, useless answer.  Calling ATT was no solution either.  So out the money on the card???  Not very satisfied with ATT here lately.  Been a customer for years but honestly I am considering switching.

Hello @ndnluvr75.

We're here to help with your PREPAID ReUse card from Dollar General.

What date and how much was loaded onto your ReUse card?

What date did you attempt to use the card?

At any point did you ever receive an error code while processing the card?

If you haven't tried, please use these steps to load PIN to your account:

  1. Scratch off the gray box to reveal your PIN.
  2. Enter *888* followed by PIN, then press the key on prepaid phone.
    Example: *888*PIN#
  3. Press SEND on prepaid phone.
  4. Confirmation message is sent to your prepaid phone.

You may also add this PIN by dialing 800-352-4071 or 611 from your prepaid phone and follow instructions to add money.

I tried both of those options and it still told me the pin was already used. I bought the card on Tuesday,  February 1,2022 for the amount of $65. I tried using the card on Tuesday,  February 1,2022. Yes I received an error notification via text message and over the phone stating that the pin had already been used.
