ATT Prepaid Autopay & Multiline - Large Account Credit
I have an account with two member accounts attached for multi-line discount, which results in combined $15 savings for the multiline setup. I also have auto-pay enabled, which results in an additional $15/mo savings due to autopay. The monthly service charge (before taxes and fees) after the two discounts is $70.00. If I make a one time payment of $300 on the account, from my understanding, the extra credit will stay on the account and will be used at following months when the prepaid monthly plan renews itself. I have two questions:
1. Will the extra credit cause any issues with the autopay discount? In other words, considering that the amount to charge my credit card by autopay will become $0 (since there is an account credit), will the autopay credit go away, and $85 gets taken from the existing credit, or will the existing account credit just go down by $70?
2. Will the credit get used for the entire multi-line account ($70/mo), or is the credit going to ONLY cover the monthly fee for the top account that has the member accounts, meaning that I will still get charged for the member accounts even though there is credit in the top level?
Thank you

Hello @YasharF,
This is a great question. Thanks for posting to the Community Forums.
There shouldn’t be a problembetween the discounts which is automatically applied. The Autopay discount solely relies on Autopay being active on your account so there will be no issue there. As far as the multi-line discount, it should appear as a discount on each individual line when you take a look at your bill rather than one lump sum credit for your total lines of service which seems confusing.
At any rate, if you have any kind of problems with your service, please don’t hesitate to respond or reach out to us! I would be happy to make sure you’re fully taken care of.
Best regards.
