Hi guys
I have att SIM and now i'm in Iran, when i'm inserting my sim in unlocked iPhone it tells me No Service,I called the International Support of att and they told me ur SIM is activated, but I don't remember that I have enabled roaming before leaving US or not,is it possible for No Service issue? The local operator (RighTel) said me ask about it from att.another problem is I tried to log in my GoPhone account but when I'm trying it tells me your 4digit password is wrong, also I tried for new password but it notifies that we will text it for ur number, but it's out of service,I'm confused

Go phone cannot roam other than Canada and Mexico. If the phone is not unlocked, you also can't use a local SIM card.
You cannot use your Gophone service and can't receive a text code.

@sali147, like @lizdance40 asked, is your phone unlocked?
If so, and your phone model supports local frequencies/bands, then you should be able to just get a compatible SIM, for a local carrier. Of course your number will be different, but you could use something like GoogleVoice, Viber, Skype, etc, to help make it easier to call people back in the US (you can make the calling number from your home state, and there are some ways to spoof your current US number well, but outside the scope here).

Thanks @pgrey , iPhone is unlocked but why I wanna know which plan or type of att SIMs will be available to use here?
I heard something like Passport Plan of att based on https://www.att.com/travelguide/coverage/coverage_details.jsp?CIDL=364&MNC=380

You would have to already be a postpaid account customer with postpaid SIM card. That ship has sailed as you are out of the US already.
Passport plans are a minimum $40 a month with very limited data, calls are pay per use. It can add up. Day pass is $10 a day to use your postpaid plan in day pass countries.

@sali147 I have no idea, in terms of what type of plans might be available there. I did try to do some looking around the RighTel site, but the translation was less than optimal, and figure out what kind of plans might work is probably a bit easier for you (I assuming you have some command of the language, or know someone who can help you there).
Like @lizdance40 mentions, the Passport plans really aren't a great deal for your scenario anyway, you're better off getting a local SIM from your local provider there, and using a VOIP service (see above) if you want to be able to call "from" a US number, from there. This uses data, but it's still cheaper, my guess anyway, not sure about the plans' international rates, the translator did a particular bad job there...

@sali147 No, that is not possible. As already explained above, Gophone service does not support international roaming other than Canada and Mexico.

@Custome Is there a question? Prepaid has no access to ATT outside the US.
