3rd and 12th months free

November 28, 2017 ; I got a AT&T prepaid phone and $65 monthly plan. The AT&T employee said the only way to get the 3rd and 12th month free was to enroll into auto pay. I asked him if he can go ahead and enroll me while I activated my phone. After paying for my phone, plan, and phone case, I left happily thinking I was already enrolled for auto pay. Well turns out, your employee failed to inform me that he either wasn't successful in enrolling me or that he messed up since my bill didn't not get paid until today and I got screwed out of my two months free. What can be done about this?

Thank you for joining the Community Forums, and bringing your experience to us.  I apologize to hear the account was not set up the way it was intended, and I would like to assist in clearing this up.


The account can be enrolled in AutoPay from your myAT&T login.  This way, you can be reassured the payments are set up the correct way.  To clear up the promotional credit concern, I will need to take a closer look.


Can you please send me a private message to @ATTCares, and include your full name and contact number?  With this information, I can investigate the plan and find the best resolution.
