2 issues, security concerns.
1. how do I add a pin number on my account to prevent sim swap scams? see link.
https://krebsonsecurity.com/2018/08/florida-man-arrested-in-sim-swap-conspiracy/
2. the paygo login website seems very easy to break into for a hacker. a user just needs my phone and 4 digit pin? seems very easy to guess. how come theirs no 2 factor authentication on this site, or the ability to use a password longer than 4 numbers?

You don’t, at least not on prepaid. No one here can answer your second question. We can only guess that the 4 digit pin has not been an issue and that thieves don’t typically target prepaid accounts or numbers. If ATT’s prepaid security is insufficient for you, your only choice is don’t use prepaid.

Your account cannot be taken over with out Account number (which is NOT published on your account) phone number and PIN code.
Wouldn’t 2 factor be counter productive? If a legit customer damages or loses their phone and sim, they can’t verify and lose their account and ability to 2 factor their accounts. Makes no sense.
