Unable to activate or access my HBO Max account that is included with my wireless service.

 I was looking over my account details today and realized that HBO Max is included in wireless plan. Great! Then I ran into the same issue that countless others seems to be coming up against. I have followed the steps on both the ATT support site as well as HBO Max but have no "Activate HBO Max" or "Start Watching" tile. When I try to sign in with provider I get a message that my account cannot be verified. I have had the same unlimited plan for years (Unlimited Choice II) and it reads in the plan details that it is included with my wireless plan. SOOOOO I am hoping that someone can shed some light on how to rectify the access/ account verification issues.

Hi @ BEEJ81, we understand where you're coming from. let's take a look into how you can get an HBO Max account. 

Before you start, please clear your cache and cookies.

If you haven't done so, please follow these steps:

  1. Go to your myAT&T account overview from a web browser.
  2. Select one of the following:
    • Go to my account.
    • Get started with the HBO Max logo and then follow the prompts.
    • Start watching HBO Max under See what’s on TV.
  3. Additional troubleshooting can be found on our HBO Max login support page.

We also have a few questions:

  • What service do you currently have with us? (To verify you have a qualifying service plan).
  • What is the error message you get when you try to log in? (The error message will tell us what the issue is).
