Max not working

I can't login to my HBO anymore. It says it can't verify subscription. I haven't changed my plan at all so should still have access to HBO. Please help me fix this. Thanks, Tiffany Roberts

We understand your frustration with not being able to verify your Max subscription, Jimmiejohnson481.

 

Our first recommendation would be to delete the Max app from your device for a few minutes. Then try reinstalling the app.

 

Our second recommendation would be to use this resource to sign onto your Max account.  

 

Here's how to sign in on your phone or tablet:

  1. Open Max, choose Sign In and then Sign In again.
    Already signed in? Choose your profile (upper right) and then Sign Out.
  2. Enter your Max or HBO Max account email and password, then choose Sign In.
    Need help? Go to Troubleshooting.
  3. Choose your profile and you're ready to stream.

Note: Your HBO Max profiles, watch history, and settings are available in Max.

 

Our third recommendation would be to troubleshoot the message not being able to verify the Max subscription

 

If you get this message, do the following:

  • Make sure Max is included with your TV, internet, or wireless package. To do this, sign in your provider account on your provider's website and make sure Max is included. For more info, go to Do I already have access to Max?
  • Apple device: Try removing your TV provider from your iOS or tvOS settings:
    • iPhone or iPad: Go to Settings > TV Provider. Under Allow TV provider to access, turn off Max.
    • Apple TV: Go to Settings > Users and Accounts > TV Provider. Under Allow TV provider to access, turn off Max.
    Once removed, try the Connect provider steps again.
