I have premium plan but HBO Max is saying I can't make an account through ATT

I have ATT Plus plan and I just found out that you can get HBO Max through ATT without having to pay. However, I got an error message when I attempted to create an HBO Max account through the "subscribe through my TV provider" option. After signing in with my login information, I got an error message saying:

"Can't verify your subscription. It looks like your account doesn't have access to HBO Max. If you think this is a mistake, please check with your provider."

I'm not sure where to go from here, if anyone can help.

Since you have an eligible plan, bonetti455535, let's help you to sign in to HBO Max.

 

While that message that you're receiving when attempting to sign in means you haven't activated your HBO Max benefit yet with your qualifying service it can also mean that you are using the incorrect AT&T user ID from an account that doesn't include the qualifying AT&T service with HBO Max.

 

If you're applying the recommended steps under Link subscription to your account, and you don't have any other AT&T accounts, then you'll want to make sure that your account is in good standing as it is required to use or keep your HBO channels.

 

Get usage balances in myAT&T

  1. Go to Usage.
  2. Review your current balance info for talk, text, and data use. If you have linked accounts, select My wireless and See all my usage.
