HBO Max Activation Tile Missing

Got rid of my cable TV provider and I tried to login to HBO Max. My wireless "Plan Details" says HBO Max Included. Instructions say login to ATT and click on "Activate HBO Max Tile" which is nowhere to be found. When I login using ATT as my provider, it says "Your subscription cannot be verified".

I have the same problem and can’t access my HBO Max subscription either. I’ve had it for years and now it doesn’t work.

I signed up for AT&T Fiber - Internet 2000 that includes HBOMAX in September 2022. Found out tonight that I cannot access HBO or Max because it expired in June 2022 before I event got the plan. I've been trying for 9 months to log in. I've called and been on hold for hours and hours and nothing.

I've known about the HBO Max option for years but never got a chance to take advantage of the offer. A few days ago I got a text from At&T saying the offer was good for Max. I got the "Can’t Verify Subscription" error when trying to sign in using my ATT username and password. I went to Max help and it says:

AT&T wireless or internet plan

Max is included at no extra cost with these plans:

  • Internet 1000, 2000, 5000
  • Unlimited Elite
  • Unlimited Plus and Unlimited Plus Enhanced
  • Unlimited Choice, Unlimited Choice II, and Unlimited Enhanced
  • Unlimited & More Premium (if you chose HBO as your premium option)

If you have one of these plans, you might need to activate Max. Here's how:

  1. Go to the myAT&T account page.
  2. Look for the Activate Max tile.
  3. Choose Activate, if asked.

Now, to start streaming Max:

  1. Install the Max app or go to max.com on your computer.
  2. Follow the Connect Your Provider steps. When you do this, choose AT&T as your provider and sign in to your AT&T account.

Once you connect your provider, you can sign in to Max on any supported device.

Where is the Activate Max tile?

Good morning, @gran667 This is not the experience we want you to have.

If you are not seeing the Activate Max tile in your myAT&T account, it is likely because the original offer has expired within the portal. However, you can still take advantage of this offer and activate Max.

In order to process this request, we will need to move to a Direct Message so that we can verify your account information.

Please check your Direct Message Inbox (it's the chat icon next to the bell icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Forums).  We'll be awaiting your response.

Our experience is the same as gran667's. Got texts on several of the family plan phones saying we just need to log into Max with our ATT info and voila. But it doesn't work. I found the same info-- we're eligible, its in our plan, but there is no Activate Max tile.

I’m having the same issue as gran667. MAX is included with my wireless plan but there’s no Activate Max tile and MAX won’t let me sign in.

Hi @ATTHelp I'm jumping on this train as well.  I received a text message last week saying I now have access to MAX.  When I try and login with my AT&T account I'm told my subscription can't be verified.  I've checked my MyAccounts page and I don't see the Activate Max tile.  Can you also help me?

Thanks

Same issue as all above. Been a wireless customer for over a decade and only just became aware of MAX via text from AT&T recently. Unable to activate/login to MAX.

I am having the same issue. We received a message advising that our plan qualified for free Max and when I attempted to sign in using my AT&T username/password I am also getting the "Can’t Verify Subscription" error. I also cannot locate an Activate Max tile anywhere on my account, however, when searching my account I confirmed that my plan states that I get Max for free. I attempted to talk to customer service today, was on the phone with them for 40 minutes, talking to two different customer service representatives, the last of which stated, well I'm not seeing Max on your account, so you should just disregard the text message you received advising that you qualify for free Max. I asked to speak with a Supervisor, as I was clearly seeing in my account that I qualify, and was told I would get a call back in a half hour. That was over two hours ago and no call back. Is someone able to Activate Max for me?
