I am having same issue. Firestick logged me out of HBO max and when I try to log back in, it refers me to tv to confirm numeric passcode.   Enter numeric passcode and it takes me to att login.  I login and get the same error message.

Hello @Mappio, we are here to help you with logging into your HBO Max.

If you haven't done so yet, we suggest that you Troubleshoot HBO Max on your TV to fix the error code. Under the section titled Things to try, select Roku, and try the different options.

Try signing in to HBO Max on another supported device (phone, tablet, or computer).

If you can't sign in on any device, try resetting your password. Here's how:

  1. Go to HBOMax.com/forgot-password.
  2. Enter your account email and then choose Submit.
  3. Check your inbox for a 'Reset Your HBO Max Password' email sent by HBO Max. This email should arrive within a few minutes.

Let us know if this helps!

AT&T password is correct, I can log in to AT&T portal without any problem. And there's no HBO Max password since we're logging in through service provider. It's the SAML single sign on broken somewhere between ATT and HBO.

Hello milokhov, we're here to help with your HBO Max.

Have tried to clear your browser history. If you have a PC running Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, or Edge:

  1. Open your browser.
  2. Press Ctrl+Shift+Delete.
  3. Select the items you want to clear.
  4. Select the Delete, OK, Clear, or Clear data button, depending on your browser type.
  5. Close and reopen your browser.

If you have a Mac running Chrome or Firefox:

  1. Open your browser.
  2. Press Command+Shift+Delete.
  3. Select the items you want to clear.
  4. Select the Delete or Clear button, depending on your browser type.
  5. Close and reopen your browser.

If you have a Mac running Safari:

  1. Open your browser.
  2. Select Safari in the top left corner next to the Apple icon.
  3. Select Preferences, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data.
  4. Select the items you want to clear.
  5. Select the Remove or Remove All button, depending on your choices.
  6. Close and reopen your browser.

If this does not work, please reach out to HBO Max for support.

I will attempt those steps but I’m not sure how the tv plays a factor when the error message is received after doing the sign in step 7 after entering my AT&T login.
